greenpois0n RC5 b2 for iOS 4.2.1 for Windows has been released as expected. Just like the Mac release, this version jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone, 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and iPad. As usual, users have been complaining about a few issues with the tool here and there, but it does work.
greenpois0n RC5 ( and RC5_2 ) was released yesterday to Mac OS X users. It is an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1, which means that you don’t have to re-jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch every time you restart it. A lot of users have been complaining to us as to why it’s available for OS X users only – well we don’t have an answer for that but what we know is that the Windows version is in the works and should be released in a couple of days.

Apple has been releasing iOS 4.3 betas to developers for testing. These betas have shown a hint of new features that will be available in the final build such as Personal Hotspot and the likes. Macstories have been informed through a source that iOS 4.3 final build will be released by Apple on February 14th at 10 am PST.

Windows Phone 7 has been hyped beyond limits by Microsoft, so much that you would think it’s even better than iOS and Android. Sadly, the reality is far from it. Apart from the UI, there’s not much to talk boast about yet. That might change with time as Microsoft fixes the crappy scrolling and zooming performance in Marketplace apps.
