Pixable have created a new infographic with statistics compiled from more than 500,000 Facebook users which shows the behavior of users while dealing with profile photos. Unsurprisingly, most women change their profile pictures more often than men do. Also, the average profile photo has 3 likes and 2 comments. Seems just about right for any guy’s profile photo. Recently, we were given the opportunity to get our hands on a BlackBerry Torch, white model, thanks to HomeShopping.pk. Since we are all iPhone and Android users here at iTD, it was a completely new and exciting experience to try out the device and the OS which was completely alien to us. As much as I’ve liked Microsoft’s marketing campaign for Windows Phone 7 so far, there’s no doubt that it’s a bit misleading on many ends. A new video posted on Microsoft’s Student Partners YouTube channel proves exactly that. What happens in the video is that Windows Phone 7 is pitted up against an iPhone 4 in a very selective list of tasks that play to a few advantages that Windows Phone 7 has: built in Facebook integration and Bing search. It’s been a few days since Google announced Android 2.3.4 for Nexus S and Nexus One. The new update brings video and voice chat through Google Talk along with a few bug fixes. Windows 8 build 6.1.7850.0.winmain_win8m1.100922-1508_x86fre_client-enterprise_en-us.iso has been leaked in the wild! This is the first Windows 8 build to be leaked and according to Neowin, it is the final Milestone 1 as well as the last version 6.1 build. You wont find this build yet on your favorite file sharing website because it has just been leaked to a private ftp.

Finally, the final build of Cyanogen Mod 7, the most popular after market Android firmware has been released. This release was a long time in coming ( took 4 months ) and is based on Android 2.3.3, otherwise known as Gingerbread. The great thing about this release is that despite most companies having dropped support for providing newest Android releases for their phones, CM7 brings all Gingerbread goodness to those phones. The current list of supported phones and tablets is 30 and contains lots of old models as well as new ones. Read more...
