Google recently launched a minisite for its new Google TV. We found out that to get the Google TV you either needed to buy a Sony Internet TV, or buy a separate box to use with your current TV. Sony Internet TV is a smart TV that will allow you to browse the web and watch TV at the same time powered by Google TV.

Engadget reportedly got some photos of Windows Phone 7 in their mails – in lego. These are apparently invites being sent out to executives for an Executive only event on 10th November. A “brick” phone (if you will), a USB stick, and a message saying “The real one is coming”, is what’s included in the invites. Read more...

According to Blogstorm and TheNextWeb, Google has started testing a new feature that enables you to preview a page in your search results. This can be done by hovering over the magnifying glass alongside a search result. Tweets have surfaced from users around the world having experienced the new feature. No official word from Google yet, nobody knows if this is a testing phase, or if Google is rolling out the new feature to all users.

Even though LG initially planned to release their new tablet by Christmas, Reuters reports a change of plans. According to Reuters, an unnamed LG official has said, “We plan to introduce a tablet that runs on the most reliable Android version … We are in talks with Google to decide on the most suitable version for our tablet and that is not Froyo 2.2.” The LG official also said that a release date is yet to be decided.

BlindType has announced on it has blog that its been officially acquired by Google. What’s BlindType you ask? Its an amazing technology that surfaced back in July that enables exactly what it’s name suggests – typing blindly. According to BlindType, “there’s a reason the user touched the screen where they did” and that “most inputs are just not errors.” BlindType lets you type anywhere on the screen and takes care of the rest by translating your movements into text.

Android and Android Market might not be top of the line, but they are sure trying their hardest. Before yesterday, Android Market’s paid apps were available to buyers in only 14 countries with apps submitted from only 9 countries. Google has expanded the Android market and increased this number to 32 and 29 respectively.

The HP Slate seemed to be something that was only looked at from afar, never to be touched. But this leaked video preview says different. A prototype of the product has been completely reviewed on YouTube, proving the tablet’s existence and hinting that not only enterprise customers, but ordinary people like us might be able to buy it one day.
