<Category: Mobile, Nokia> No comment

Only recently, I watched a video showcasing the new ‘Plug and Touch’ technology which enables the N8 to turn any screen into a touch screen. Nokia isn’t giving up the fight too easy I assume. Another video has emerged, claiming to be the world’s smallest stop motion video and it’s been filmed with N8’s 12MP camera with the help of Cellscope technology. The UK animators Aardman, creators of Wallace and Gromit and Flushed Away are now also the proud creators of the world’s smallest stop motion animation.

Google Voice app appears in the App Store

<Category: Apple, Google> 2 Comments

After over an year of rejections(by Apple), anger(from the users) and betrayal(by Sean Kovacz), Apple has approved a Google Voice app for the App Store. Sean Kovacz was the pioneer of Google Voice apps, after it was taken away from the App store, Kovacz submitted his app to Cydia instead. Apple’s reason for rejection was that such an app duplicated the features of an iPhone and people suspected an Apple/Google war brewing. Google didn’t let Apple stop them and created an HTML5 web app.

Then there was a confirmation from Mission:Repair that they had received replacement parts that included a camera slot. Another discovery came from Apple’s documentation itself which uncovered API support for camera functions like zoom and flash.
