One of the amazing tools I found on the Internet has to be CodeThemed. It lets you create a theme for your iPhone/iPod touch using their website, but to use the theme, you’ll need a jailbroken device. What makes Android a great operating system is that you can customize it the way you like. If you have the stock Android UI, without any additions such as Motoblur, or Sense UI, you would be bored with the interface, and it won’t satisfy your customization needs. You can’t deny the fact that Google Buzz caught everyone’s attention. It has strong features, and it’s integrated with Gmail which is convenient for some, but not for others. If you are like the many others, you’ve suddenly found yourself using your Gmail account more and more then you ever did. But, using Buzz and Gmail, takes time from Twitter and Facebook. This week was loaded of new HTC handsets with Android 2.1 and HTC Sense. So here’s a video revealing an old HTC Hero running the newest Android 2.1 and Sense. What’s new you might ask? Opera Mobile is the world’s most popular browser for smartphones, with over 25% share, as compared to Safari Mobile on iPhone OS which has just a little bit over 22%. What confuses me is how will they release to the iPhone, despite Apple not allowing any browser other then Safari Mobile ( those that exist in the App Store use Safari’s rendering engine ). Google has finally stepped up, and started offering a support phone line for Nexus One owners. I think it is necessary seeing the big number of customer complaints – but pretty much useless. Nexus One owners can call (888) 48NEXUS between 4am and 7pm PST to speak with customer support. Unfortunately, they will only be able to get information on status/shipping information on your order.
