Apple launched iOS 10 yesterday, and it is packed with tons of new features. Among redesigned Message features, notifications widgets, and more is a change to the unlock functionality of the home button. Now, users of iPhone 5s and later and iPads will have to press the Home button twice to unlock. Previously used, ‘Slide to unlock’ functionality to unlock an iOS device is gone for good.
For all the Mario lovers, Nintendo has released the Super Mario Run stickers app for iOS ahead of the game’s release. The app provides a number of Mario-themed stickers like Mario’s happy face, suspicious face, Mario waving goodbye, confetti and items like Mario’s cap, coin or mustache to be used during messaging.
Tweety for iOS allows quick and easy access to users’ Twitter feed from the notifications screen by adding a widget. Without leaving an app or unlocking the device, users can view the latest tweets and favorite or retweet them.

Within a week of the new iPhone 7’s official launch, the alleged specifications for 2017’s iPhones are circulating the Internet. According to The New York Times, sources within Apple have reported that the 2017 iPhone models will have new edge-to-edge OLED displays and a virtual home button built-in to the screen.
After its announcement a few days ago, Niantic has released the new Buddy Pokémon feature with Pokémon Go version 1.7 for iOS. The latest update also implements Pokemon Go Plus support, performance and text improvements, and minor bug and fixes.
Along with AirPods, Apple has launched three new headphones by Beats, Solo3, Powerbeats3 and BeatsX. All headphone sets are powered by Apple W1 chip just like the Airpods and work with iOS 10, macOS 10.12 and watchOS 3 devices. Since the headphones have Bluetooth, they also work with non-Apple devices but without the benefits of the W1 chip.
