Twitter for iPhone & iPad Updated, Adds Push Notifications And More..

The official Twitter app for iPhone and iPad has been updated to version 3.2.1 which brings full support for iOS 4.2 as well as the much awaited ‘Push Notifications’ feature, something which was not found in any twitter client without a subscription. There is also addition of inline media for the iPad version with tons of UI enhancements and bug fixes.

Today in their special mobile event. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced some upgrades to their Facebook mobile applications. These new updates will provide a better mobile social platform for mobile devices which will be the future of the Facebook in the coming days. The new mobile platform is not a phone but it is a mobile platform which is supported for many different smartphones like iOS, Android, Blackberry and many more. It will help developers to make their mobile apps better integrated with Facebook.

Facebook for Android 1.4 Released – Supports Places, Groups and Improved Notifications

Although this rumor wasn’t looking like it could turn into reality but still, those who were looking for the launch of a Facebook phone would have realized that its not coming. But today in their live mobile media event, Facebook announced an update to their Facebook app for Android. This updated app has some new features such as places, groups and improved notifications. The update has gone live now and you can download it from Android Market.

TweekDeck 1.0 officially comes to Android devices

TweetDeck is one of the most famous twitter clients for PC users while TweetDeck app for iOS can be at best considered as meh. TweetDeck had announced their public beta version for Android devices on August 12th and now after fixing many bugs through a large number of beta releases, they have officially launched their TweekDeck app for Android and it will is available in Android Market.

Facebook Rolls Out New Photo Viewer

According to Mashable, Facebook has begun to roll out its new image viewer design to users and this is what it looks like. It’s apparently called Facebook PhotoTheater. Facebook recently redesigned Groups from the ground up and this will probably be the next change. Its known that Facebook has been planning to completely redesign its interface, whether these changes will gradually roll out or update at once, isn’t official.

Mark Zuckerberg appears on Oprah; Discusses Startup:Education

Mark Zuckerberg was in Chicago on September 25 to be on “Oprah” show talking about his education  foundation which will cost a 100 million dollars. The foundation’s aim is to improve education in the United States which will start with Newark school system. New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, U.S. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan and NJ Mayor Cory Booker joined the talk show as well.

Review : New Twitter website, features much more than before!

Some time ago, it was announced that a new Twitter website will be released on 14th September. Twitter has a webpage that shows the new features and interface . The improvements have made Twitter easier to use and with interface re-map, things feels better than before. The only setback of the new twitter is that it has added a few seconds to the loading time.
