Posterous lets you blog from just about any OS/browser you can send an email from thanks to its great email publishing feature. But sometimes, you actually desire a dedicated app. Posterous had come out with an iPhone app sometime ago and today, they’ve released their first Android app. Read more...

In case you’ve been unhappy with the laggy performance and delayed rollout of Froyo for Galaxy S by Samsung, the silver lining has been revealed. A super fast, lag free build marked Android 2.2.1 i9000XXJPU has been leaked which fixes much of the issues people used to complain about previously. Gone are the days when you needed to install a lag fix just to make the phone useable under heavy load ( a lot of people will still say that a lag fix is needed, don’t listen to them ).

It’s that time of the year again when the next flagship Android phone is released, yet again, to dethrone the current contender. Normally, the attraction to upgrade is based on the feature set of the device. But when you look at the Galaxy S and then Nexus S, there aren’t many benefits in upgrading apart from a few features such as NFC, gyroscope and flash. But the major feature in Nexus S is Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread. This is the latest update to Google’s mobile operating system and now that they’ve tied it with a new Google experience device, you can be rest assured that the next OS update will be released on this device first.

So unless they get Android 2.3 ROMS for their handsets, there are a few alternatives to give you the Gingerbread look and feel on your device. First up, the Gingerbread Launcher with a cool fade effect and greenish icons. Read more...
