If you’re an avid Google Chrome user, you must have noticed that by default, the web installer for Google Chrome only installs it on the user account you’re logged in to your computer with. So when you any other user on the same computer has to use it, re-installation is required for that account again. Luckily, Google has provided a work around for this and that too in an offline format.

Now that we are all used to the new OSX Lion Multi-Touch gestures, it seems we have overwritten an old gesture. If you were in Snow Leopard and wanted to go back or forward a page in your web browser, you would swipe three fingers left or right. Within an hour of Angry Birds for Chrome being released, it has already been hacked. Developer Wes Bos discovered that with a quick change to the cache, he was able to unlock all the levels in the game, including the Chrome limited edition levels. Read more...

Google has finally released it’s Chrome Canary build for Mac. Canary is Google Chrome’s Developer builds, which google is numbering version 13. The current release of Chrome is at Version 11, with the beta builds at version 12. This means a few things, the builds are very unstable and are very frequent. Security is not guaranteed so you should use Canary along side another version of Chrome. I would avoid doing any shopping or putting any personal information into a web page using the browser. It was a blessing when Google launched Google Docs, no need to download and install a word processors, you could do it all on your browser. Slowly improving and adding new old features from your basic word processor, Google Docs eradicates the need of another word processor for me. I’ve always found it annoying that there were no page breaks and I couldn’t keep track of how long my document was. Google has finally introduced Pagination, which basically means that you won’t have an endless Google document anymore. Pagination is being rolled out to everyone today. Read more...
