Opera has introduced a new feature in their developer channel called power saving mode which aims to increase battery life of your laptop by up to 50%, when compared to Google Chrome. The new feature is available for both Windows and OS X and you should receive this in the new update automatically, if you are on the developer channel.
WhatsApp is one of the most popular smartphone messaging apps in the world. Last year, they introduced the WhatsApp Web feature which allows users to use the service inside their browsers with a caveat: users must have the app installed and setup on their phone since the browser version needs to pair with it via a QR code to work.

Intel WiDi is the company’s wireless streaming technology for Windows PCs which allows AirPlay like functionality. User WiDi, users can stream video, audio, photos or just mirror or extend their display to any compatible receivers. Compatible devices include any recent TVs, dongles (such as Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter) or projectors.
Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10547 to Fast Ring users. There are a lot of changes and improvements in this new release even though it is not a major version number changes from the Windows 10 Fast Ring release. Windows 10 build 10537 was recently leaked online with some changes but it was not release officially by Microsoft.
iTunes 12.3 has been released for OS X, along with iOS 9 release for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The new iTunes update brings iOS 9 support, El Capitan design updates, two factor authentication and more.
Microsoft has announced its Windows 10 devices event to be held on October 6 at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City. The event will show off Microsoft’s hardware updates. As per rumors and expectations, the long awaited Windows 10 Mobile Lumia phones could be announced, along with Surface 4, Microsoft Band version 2, and there would likely be some news about Hololens.
Windows 10 build 10537 has been leaked online for download. The new build, not available for Preview Insiders, contains some user interface updates, including close animations for Store apps, grey right click menu and updated icons in many places through the operating system. Microsoft Wi-Fi app has also been found in this build although it does not work.
