xbox-dashboard-09-13-2010Engadget has found a few videos of the new Xbox 360 Dashboard that has been leaked thanks to the Kinect beta program. This new Dashboard will be released as an update in November. This new Dashboard will be compatible with Kinect so you’ll be able to control it with gestures and voice commands. The dashboard is still in beta but gives a good idea of what’s to come.

Xbox 360 250GB plus Kinect bundle will cost $399 in US and £300 in UK

A few months ago at E3, Microsoft had announced the new Xbox 360 Arcade which has 4Gb internal storage and a new design with matte shine. Its pricing was revealed after some time and it started shipping in early August for $199. Its bundled price with Microsoft Kinect will be $299 which will be available later this year. Microsoft took a little time but they have finally announced the pricing of a second Kinect bundle which will be available starting November 4th in US.

Microsoft looking to start Xbox LIVE and Kinect Beta Program

According to Joystiq , Microsoft is sending out invitations to some of its Microsoft Connect users to join “Xbox Live and Kinect Beta Program” as they plan to begin it soon. Several users have received the invitation via Microsoft Connect, a service which is used to gather customer feedback on products in testing. The participants of the program will be provided opportunity to see pre-released software and give their feedback to Microsoft.

Microsoft reveals Xbox Kinect technology

Microsoft have revealed the technology used in their upcoming motion based gaming device Kinect ( previously called Project Natal ) for Xbox 360. The secret was finally revealed by a patent application filled by Microsoft with the US patent and trademark office.

Packaging of New Xbox 360 Shows hard drive upgrade option of 250GB

In June, Microsoft announced the new Xbox 360 S Arcade version. It is almost the same as its previous versions but its internal memory is 4GB and it will also have a dedicated port for Kinect. Then about 10 days ago, Microsoft revealed the pricing and availability of Xbox 360 S and Kinect. Now it looks like a separate 250GB hard drive would be available for purchase with the new Xbox 360 S. Microsoft has not yet confirmed this news but GamerZines noted this in a press packaging of the new Xbox 360 S which shows in the accessories section that the hard drive is sold separately.

About a month ago at E3, Microsoft announced the New Xbox 360, S Arcade version of Xbox. This version is just like the 250GB version but it also includes 4GB internal memory, a new design with matte shine, built-in 802.11n WiFi and a port of Kinect. Yesterday, Microsoft confirmed the pricing of new Xbox 360 Arcade SKU, it will be available from 3rd August with the price of $200. Apart from this, Microsoft has also announced that Kinect will be available in November for $150 with a free Kinect Adventure game by Microsoft. Also, if you buy Xbox 360 Arcade + Kinect bundle than it will cost you $300.

nataldev2 Microsoft is gearing up to launch Project Natal this holiday season according to the latest news without any price announcements. What we know is that a lot of big names are preparing software titles to be available for Project Natal at launch – after all ‘it’s the software, stupid’. According to The Seattle Times, Microsoft has hired Pegatron to build Project Natal controllers for Xbox 360 to go on sale later this year. No matter what the critics say, Project Natal will be awesome, given that the price is reasonable.
