Microsoft has recently launched Windows Phone 7 along with many devices and with that they have also updated Zune PC software with support for Windows Phone 7. With this new Zune software, PC users would transfer their music, photos and videos to their phones. But what about Mac users? If they want to buy a Windows Phone 7 device then they would not have any Zune software for their Mac OS. Microsoft may release a Windows Phone sync solution for Mac but this will not be like the Zune software for PC. This sync solution will just provide a way for Mac users to transfer their music, photos and video to their phones.

Zune finally goes international with the release of Zune 4.7–Now Support Windows Phone 7

Launch of Windows Phone 7 is not the only interesting news today as Microsoft has released a new version of Zune PC software. Zune 4.7 has some new features and the biggest of them is that it would have support for Windows Phone 7 devices. Apart from this, Zune will be supported internationally as previously it was available for the U.S users which was limiting its user base.

A brief history first. In 2004, Microsoft began working on a new phone OS codenamed Photon. Due to various problems, the whole project was scrapped but in 2008 in the Windows Phone team started from scratch by making a new OS called Windows Phone 7.

After much wait, Windows Phone 7 was launched today in New York and Europe. You will be able to get a Windows Phone 7 device starting November 8 in the US.

64gb Zune HD is available early in Zune Store

On 31st March, in a press release Microsoft had announced that the 64gb Zune HD will be available in Zune store from 12thApril with the price of $350. But today, on 9th April, you can now order it from the Zune website. The price of 16gb and 32gb Zune HD has also decreased to $200 and $270.
