GridTab For Safari Brings iPad Like Tabs In Grid Layout To iPhone & iPod Touch

This is actually a really cool tweak. In fact once you start using it, you’ll never go back to the native tab switching in mobile Safari for iPhone. Its called ‘GridTab For Safari’ and is available for jailbroken iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 4.0 or above. The tweak allows you to view your opened Safari tabs in a grid, much like the native tab viewing in Safari for iPad. This makes it a lot smoother to navigate through the opened tabs while browsing on your iPhone or iPod touch.

When you install ‘GridTab For Safari’ it won’t show any settings menu or an icon on your SpringBoard. It will simply apply to your Safari’s tab screen giving it a 100% native feature-like feeling. I’ve been using it myself for a couple of days and have not experienced any lag whatsoever.
