Google+ iPhone App Available now in the App Store!

Google today has released their long awaited app for their new “Facebook Killer”, Google+. The company announced several weeks ago that their app was submitted to Apple for approval, and we expected it to take a couple weeks. The day is here now and you can go download it here.

The app only currently supports iPhones, so there is no support for iPods or iPads at the moment. They are most likely working on an iPad specific application, but we are unsure why they left out the iPod. Before today, iPhone users would need to go the web and use Apple’s web interface for Google+. The app still allows the same features to be used, including group huddles, which are basically group chats! It also supports the other functionality of viewing the stream, viewing your circles and sharing photos.

Enjoy the new app if you are a Google+ User!
