Follow Official Live Video Stream of Apple’s September 1 Event

apple media event

The preparations for Apple’s live media event are almost complete as the event would take place in less than 24 hours. Normally, this media event is related to Apple’s refresh of their iPod lineup and iTunes. But this time the event is expected to be much more special as it is expected that Apple will unveil their new design of iPod Nano which is completely different from the current one as it will have a square touch screen interface. The next generation of iPod touch will also have some new features like Retina Display and front and rear cameras. Some experts also think that Apple may also reveal their new Apple TV which will be rebranded as iTV.

There are so many things to look forward to in Steve Jobs’ next keynote. Luckily, for the first time in recent history that we can remember, Apple is providing a live stream of the event themselves!

The live stream will be shown on apple.com and to view it you’ll require either a Mac OS X 10.6 running Safari, iPhone or iPod Touch with iOS 3.0+ or iPad. Talk about being open, eh? No love for PCs!

Apple® will broadcast its September 1 event online using Apple’s industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards. Viewing requires either a Mac® running Safari® on Mac OS® X version 10.6 Snow Leopard®, an iPhone® or iPod touch® running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad™. The live broadcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT on September 1, 2010 at www.apple.com.
