HTC Incredible caught in the wild with Android 2.1 + Sense UI goodness

Pocket Now got themselves some pictures of the HTC incredible which is destined to be on Verizon’s Network. It’s an Android 2.1 phone with Sense UI slapped on top of it for eye candy and added functionality. Looking at the specifications, we would like to call this the HD2 of Android 2.1 smartphones but then the Nexus One had better specifications ( more RAM ). But is the Incredible really incredible?

We’ll let the specifications do the talking:

  • Android 2.1 with HTC Sense
  • Runs 1GHz Snapdragon CPU
  • 256 MB of RAM
  • 3.5-3.7” WVGA Screen
  • May have an AMOLED/OLED screen
  • Optical TrackPad
  • 5MP camera with dual LED Flashes

It does seem like one heck of an Android phone! But the specifications list is so similar to the one of the HTC Bravo, planned to be released in Europe around March-April, we think this might be the US version name of the HTC Bravo.

The HTC Incredible’s design is quite fascinating, the black adds sexiness to the phone’s look, and the unusual back design of it makes it this “unusual” looking mega-awesome device, see pictures below:

All we can do in the meantime is wait, and hope it’s going to be a kick-ass phone!
