iMac unavailable at some In-store Reservations

A few days ago, AppleInsider reported that Apple is advising its sales channels of iMac that they may have a shortage of stock before its refresh. As predicted some models of iMac are appearing to be “Unavailable” on Apple in-store Reserve and Pick Up system just like Apple’s Mac Pro line as it is also having shortages since last week.

Many number of stores are still selling iMacs. It is also still available at Apple’s online store and it is scheduled to ship within 24 hours. But the 21.5 inch iMac and quad-core 27-inch model are unavailable for the Reserve and pick option at many location. It shows that Apple wants to finish the remaining models of iMac and Mac Pro with the online Apple Store and if items are short at some store then they have to wait until the new models are shipped to them.

iMac was  last updated in October of 2009 and now we have some clear signs that the iMac would get its refresh soon.
