Lightroom for iPad and iPhone become free apps

Adobe has been on a roll lately. They have been quick on adapting new mobile platforms and were even at Apple’s announcement for iPad Pro. Their apps Photoshop Fix, Photoshop Sketch and Illustrator Draw are all amazing apps build with the platforms in mind. Adobe has now gone ahead and made the Lightroom apps for iPad and iPhone free.

The new apps also get a number of new features for both iPhone and iPad versions. The app is not universal so both devices need separate apps. Despite that, both versions of the app are on 2.0.0 now and have feature parity. Here is the list of updates in this release.

•Better photos in a snap. Capture amazing moments with the in-app Adobe camera, streamlining shoot to share.
•Cut through the haze. Control the amount of atmospheric haze in your photos to recover color and contrast, or to create artistic effects, with the Dehaze adjustment tool.
•Make photo magic, faster. Seamlessly access Photoshop Fix to retouch your photos.
•Complete color control. Tune the colors in specific areas of your photos using the Targeted Adjustment tool, a new Color/B&W editing option.
•“Lights, camera, action.” Craft amazing video stories from your Lightroom photos— synced to the beat of your favorite music, with one-tap access to Premiere Clip. Adobe ID required.
•Find your photos faster. The new ‘Lightroom Photos’ collection displays your Camera Roll photos and videos by date, so you can find them faster.
