Mac OSX 10.6.8 build seeded to developers

The third build of Mac OSX 10.6.8 was seeded to developers earlier today, which could be the final build before Mac OSX 10.7 Lion launches. Apple has been very consistent with their build release, releasing the builds to developers every Thursday or Friday. Apple is still wanting developers to focus on Graphics Drivers, Mac App Store (Will be utilized more with Lion as well), Networking, Airport, Quicktime, and VPN.

This new build of OSX will feature security fixes, fix Mac App Store bugs, as well as the fix for Mac Defender which Apple promised would be coming in the next few days. In any case, this will most likely be the last iteration of 10.6, before we move to Lion (10.7) in the summer. With WWDC only 2 weeks away, Lion is creeping on our tails (literally). Stay tuned here for up to date news about Lion and the Mac Defender fix.
