It is a pretty exciting news for Mac OS users that Office for Mac 2011 will be available in stores on October 26 and you can get your own copy right away! Office for Mac 2011 preorders can already be placed at Amazon.com.
According to the official website, office for Mac 2011 has been designed for an enhanced user experience overall, as performance and launch times have been improved in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. All the documents feel “lighter,” since they load fast, and respond quickly to commands. Also searching text within documents has been improved.
One of the most visually amazing features is called the Dynamic Reorder which gives you the ability to interactively re-order all of the layers in a document or presentation. The new suite also introduces a new view in Word 2011, Full Screen view which has two views, one optimized for writing and the other one for reading which is supposed to block out the distractions and focus on putting your idea on the paper.
