All PC manufacturers are definitely jealous of the Macbook Air. With the low price point (compared to other Macs) it is relatively cheap. Aside from that, the Macbook Air looks very beautiful and is a perfect device to show off.

New data from Canalys shows that iPhone was the best selling smartphone in the third quarter of 2010, controlling 26.2 percent of the market, but with the amount of phones now running Google’s Android, it represents a combined 43.6 percent.

Acer have a long history of making Ferrari branded products. These have included laptops with the Ferrari paint as well as look and feel. Now that they’ve entered the smartphone territory with Android handsets, it’s only appropriate for them to make a Ferrari branded Android phone.

Acer too has decided to join the Android bandwagon for its mobile device, as it has announced Acer Liquid. Acer Liquid comes out as the world’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor powered phone. Not only that Acer says that it is the first Android 1.6 based high definition smartphone, not to forget that it becomes equipped with a 5 megapixel camera.

Microsoft has worked hard to make Windows 7 more efficient than its predecessors ( take a look at the new power saving options in Windows 7). Even then, some users are complaining about lowered battery life when they shift to Windows 7, specially on netbooks. As liliputing points out from Laptop Magazine, the Toshiba NB205 gets a hit of 2.5 hours with Windows 7 from the 9 hours it gets with Windows XP. That’s a huge difference for those who buy netbooks based on their battery life.

Some guy claims to have taken pictures of an early developer Beta of Google Chrome OS. He works with some company who supplies parts for Acer laptops and got a chance to take the pictures because he was the last person to leave the room and had his mini cam with him. He also says he is "putting my career and notability on the line in this”.
While I wont bet on this, I’m amazed at how much information he has given out in the bold parts. It’ll be very easy for Acer or Google to find out who he is and sack him. Also, if it was such a private demo, how come he was allowed to have a mini cam with him? Also, the Google logo shown in the wallpaper is very different than the official Google logo. Notice the difference in letter colors.
