Windows Phone 7 UK Twitter account posted a new advertisement today featuring a non-branded Windows Phone. It doesn’t show much except for being based on a Lawrence of Arabia theme and claiming that the revolution is coming. The music is pretty intense and almost has me convinced. Read more...

Google sure knows how to advertise. The latest ad for Google Chrome is really cute, and well thought out. It teaches you about Google Chrome features and functionality without actually showing any computer or technology. It’s just really smart. Microsoft should get Google to do their advertisements, because most of the times, it’s just not good enough. Read more...

Microsoft has begun the advertisement for Windows 7 with this commercial titled ‘Good News‘ (and implying Vista was bad news?) which features the 5 year old Kylie who previously appeared in a Windows Live ad. She’s shown reading various positive reviews for Windows 7 and also creates a slideshow using Windows Live Movie Maker, which has snippets from those reviews. The ad ends with the launch date of Windows 7 hence Microsoft is trying to kick start the hype engine with this ad by saying ‘More happy is coming’ and the Final Countdown music.
