Windows 7 Aero Aero Shake is one of the coolest features in Windows 7 that lets you shake on application’s Windows which minimizes the everything else. It’s really awesome and has been shown in Windows 7 advertisements too. Ever wondered about the developers who worked on this innovative feature? Song Zou, principle development lead for the Windows Core Experience Team and a Microsoftie for 12 years helped create the Windows 7 taskbar as well as the Aero Shake feature.

Firefox 3.7 to get the Office Ribbon UI

Firefox has the worst UI amongst all the popular browsers. Almost all other browsers ( IE, Chrome, Safari ) have a new and better UI along with some sort of Windows 7 integration ( Aero Glass, jumplists, Aero Peek, thumbnail previews etc ), where as Firefox has none. The UI is still stuck in the Windows XP era. Mozilla has plans to change all that with Firefox 3.7 release.

A new UI expected for Windows 7 RTM?

Paul Thurrott has just posted some screenshots of build 7106, that has been the center of attention for beta testers for some days. The build leaked in Chinese to start with, but Paul has posted images of the English version. There’s not much to say about this build, as Paul points out. An interesting bit I’ve picked up from is article is that he mentions rumors of a new UI for RTM builds.
