Apple promised to surprise the world with ‘an exciting announcement‘ via iTunes today and they have done so with finally managing to get the Beatles to iTunes, the band that changed everything in the industry of music! The complete Beatles Box Set is now selling on iTunes for $149.99 while the individual albums range from $12.99 to $19.99. You can also buy individual songs for $1.29 each.

Apple Will Surprise With ‘An Exciting Announcement’ Tomorrow Via iTunes!
Who doesn’t like the sound of “Surprise!”, especially when its from Apple? Well here’s one for you all! Apple.com homepage has just been updated pointing to the following banner which states that “an exciting announcement” from iTunes is coming tomorrow at 7 AM PST. Here is what it says:
Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4 release candidate now available for MSDN subscribers
Visual Studio 2010, the latest version of Microsoft’s IDE with a new improved UI built using WPF and tools for Windows 7 and SharePoint 2010 development has already been delayed. Originally slated for 22nd March, the release was delayed to performance issues. The latest launch date has been set for April 12, 2010. Appropriately, Microsoft has delivered a release candidate build for Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4 framework. It is currently available for download to MSDN subscribers while it will be available for public download on 10th February.
Why did Google announce Chrome OS today? Microsoft will be announcing something next Monday
Microsoft will be making a big announcement next Monday, although we don’t know any details about it. But from the above update on FriendFeed by Robert Scoble, it seems it will be similar to the Chrome OS that Google announced today. It could very well be something based around their research project Gazelle:
