The folks over at 9to5mac have found a little nugget hiding inside of Facebook’s new Messenger app that was released yesterday. It appears that the Facebook application contains code for a video call component. See the screenshots below:

It’s not been a long time since Apple announced that there are over 425,000 applications in the App Store. In fact, this was last month and today, a month afterwards that number seems to have been increased by 50,000 according to Apps Fire.

There are many Cydia Tweaks available out there for anyone with a jailbroken iOS device. However, not many of those jailbreak tweaks add to the Maps app. Well a new tweak from developers Funky Space Monkey has been released, named Speed for Maps.

So you have OSX Lion installed and you’re starting to use Launchpad. But you don’t want all those programs to be shown in there. Unfortunately, OSX shares the same properties as iOS, if you delete it from the Launcher, you uninstall it from your computer, considering it is an app from the Mac App Store. Obviously it is easy to redownload the app, but that’s not what we are after.

Jailbroken iPad users are now able to use the official (unreleased) iPad version of the Facebook application.

Google today has released their long awaited app for their new “Facebook Killer”, Google+. The company announced several weeks ago that their app was submitted to Apple for approval, and we expected it to take a couple weeks. The day is here now and you can go download it here.

One of my favorite 2D Fighting games of all times, the King Of Fighters series finally makes its way to iPhone / iPod touch and is now available for download in the AppStore named as The King Of Fighters-i. The game features trademark SNK graphics optimized for iOS. You play using a Virtual Pad similar to the one used in Capcom’s Street Fighter IV for iPhone. Best of all, you can pull of a complex combos and special moves by press of a single “Special Button”. Slick eh!

Verbs, a gorgeous IM app for iPhone has been updated to version 2.0 with a much demanded push notifications feature. It was very odd to see an IM app for iPhone without push notification support but the app was initially developed with a simple goal in mind – beautiful design, and it has managed to achieve that quiet well.
