Google Chrome Canary now available for OSX

<Category: Apple, Chrome, Mac, OS X> No comment

Google has finally released it’s Chrome Canary build for Mac.  Canary is Google Chrome’s Developer builds, which google is numbering version 13.  The current release of Chrome is at Version 11, with the beta builds at version 12.  This means a few things, the builds are very unstable and are very frequent.  Security is not guaranteed so you should use Canary along side another version of Chrome.  I would avoid doing any shopping or putting any personal information into a web page using the browser.

Courier Functionality coming to iPad thanks to Taposé!

<Category: Apple, iPad> Only 1 comment

It was about a year and a half ago that  new concept product called the Courier was leaked from Microsoft. It was the perfect tablet, but sadly, it was cancelled.  It was a dual touchscreen tablet that folded in half like a book.  It was pre iPad and before the big tablet boom unfortunately.  However, two developers have made Microsoft’s vision a reality with the iPad.  They have created a program called Taposé that brings the dual touchscreen functionality to the iPad.  Don’t go thinking they will make it fold in half either.
