Apple iOS App Store Now Has Over 450,000 Applications

It’s not been a long time since Apple announced that there are over 425,000 applications in the App Store. In fact, this was last month and today, a month afterwards that number seems to have been increased by 50,000 according to Apps Fire.

Microsoft Education Labs have released a new Math Worksheet Generator which is like a dream come true for teachers, parents and even elder siblings like me who have to teach Maths to the younger ones. It lets you input a Maths question ranging from basic arithmetic to algebra, and based on that creates lots of such question automatically, along with their answers on a work sheet. Trust me, it saves a lot of time and makes everything so much easier. Here’s a quick guide on how to get started:

Microsoft OneApp is a new application that will allow feature phones ( phones which are not classified as smart phones ) to access web services and applications such as Windows Live Messenger, Twitter, Facebook and the likes. It is being launched by Microsoft Unlimited Potential program for developing countries where not everyone can buy an iPhone or a Blackberry. To start with, it’ll launch in South Africa for users of Blue Label Telecoms as part of their service called ‘mibli’.

How Windows Mobile Marketplace’s restrictions could make it dead on arrival

image Wmpoweruser has published a list of restrictions (via WMExperts) imposed on developers for their apps to be approved for Windows Mobile Marketplace. The restrictions seem to have been totally inspired by Apple, which is really not a good thing. It also means that some previously popular Windows Mobile apps will be ineligible for Windows Marketplace. In a nutshell, here’s what you’ll be missing
