iH8sn0w has mentioned on Twitter that he has already began working on a jailbreak for iPhone OS 4 beta. He has been posting decryption keys for iPhone OS 4 for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G on Twitter. No release or any other information has been announced yet, but this comes as good news for all those eager to try out the next generation iPhone OS by Apple.

As expected, iPhone OS 4 has been leaked to the Internets for the public to play with it. iModZone has the OS 4 for iPod Touch 3G, 2G and iPhone 3GS and 3G. We haven’t personally given it a shot, but if you’re interested, here’s the link to go download and mess around with it. We can’t even guarantee that it will work because according to that website, You NEED to register your device ID with a Dev Account to use it.

Multitasking is probably the most wanted feature from the future iterations of iPhone OS. 9to5mac has been digging around in the iPhone OS 3.2 SDK and have found comments that show mention of a multitasking dialog box. Seems like Apple will be implementing a task switcher in iPhone OS 3.2, but lets not be too sure of that until we see it. Read more...

Rafael Rivera has found evidence that Microsoft is planning to being external beta testing for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 soon. In recent updates via Windows Update, Microsoft has quietly enabled a beta candidacy check in the registry. This is similar to the Windows Vista days when adding a registry key would authorize the user to download and install the service pack 1 builds via Windows Update. Read more...
