After a long wait and tons of leaked Android 2.2 Froyo builds, Samsung Galaxy S users got a well deserved Gingerbread 2.3.2 build I9000XWJV1. This is a beta build but everything seems to work in it. There are some reported incompatibilities with different apps but that’s due to the fact that it’s a Gingerbread build and not Froyo. Other than that, it seems like a good build to try out. Latest Google Chrome update gets a Kiosk Mode
Google has released another update for the Chrome, versions 4.0.245.0, aimed at dev version users, which brings a Kiosk Mode to the browser along with the usual bug fixes and stability improvements. Kiosk Mode in Chrome is inspired by the very same option in Internet Explorer, which hides the toolbar and status bar and runs the browser in a full screen mode.

Why the leaked Google Chrome OS screenshots seem fake
Some guy claims to have taken pictures of an early developer Beta of Google Chrome OS. He works with some company who supplies parts for Acer laptops and got a chance to take the pictures because he was the last person to leave the room and had his mini cam with him. He also says he is "putting my career and notability on the line in this”.
While I wont bet on this, I’m amazed at how much information he has given out in the bold parts. It’ll be very easy for Acer or Google to find out who he is and sack him. Also, if it was such a private demo, how come he was allowed to have a mini cam with him? Also, the Google logo shown in the wallpaper is very different than the official Google logo. Notice the difference in letter colors.
According to him:
