This one is currently my favorite Cydia tweak and its called “CameraButtons”. Once installed, it lets you to take photos and shoot videos with your iPhone’s volume keys, something I’ve always missed in my iPhone 4. CamerButtons has no springboard icon, instead a menu with handful of options is added to the iPhone’s native settings. The tweak gives you complete touch-free control of your iOS camera app. You can easily configure the volume up button, volume down button, and shake action to your desired function from the settings menu. There’s no doubt that iPod Touch users are anxiously waiting for the update of their beloved devices to get a camera. A website, HardMac has obtained illustrations of what seems to be a clear case for the next generation iPod Touch 4 that will be unveiled in September. Just because it doesn’t have a Retina Display or a faster processor, we can safely assume that this is yet another third generation prototype of an iPod Touch. It contains the much anticipated camera, which we never got in the third generation iPod Touch. The story behind this prototype is that it was picked up at a ‘recycling place’ in California.

Its been just nearly a week since the launch of iPhone 4 and the issues with it are piling up every day! The two biggest issues that users have reported are signal reception issues and the other is that its ‘helicopter grade’ glass breaks if it falls from an average height. Several other issues have also been reported with it but we don’t think those are too serious. According to a report by Macworld, some iPhone 4 users have reported color oddities with photos taken with its back camera. The photos are perfect when taken in normal daylight but it has issues correctly capturing images in dim light with or without the LED flash. Read more...
