A cool new tweak coming soon to the Cydia store will bring turn-by-turn navigation to the iOS’s native Google Maps app. Before this, iPhone users have been using expensive third party apps with most of them only working in US and Canada for voice assistance. First PwnageTool custom bundle to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4 has just been released by @Nadeem. Though it hasn’t been tested by any of our staff, we assume it should work fine. The Readme file for this bundle says it can be used with PwnageTool 4.1.3 to create custom iPSW for iOS 4.2.1 in order to preserve iPhone 4′s Baseband and also boot untethered and jailbroken. disableEmergency is a new Cydia tweak that lets you disable the emergency call button on screen lock. This app adds an option to Settings.app which lets you toggle it on or off. This tweak won’t allow you to make an emergency call in case of a real emergency too so we aren’t really sure why anyone would want to risk that. Developer Tyler Nettleton (aka InfectionFX) has just submitted a brand new tweak to the Cydia store which is called “Voice Notifications”. The tweak allows you to have your iPhone say just about anything as a notification for Text messages or Phone calls. You can configure all your “clever sayings” right from the iPhone’s settings menu.
