George Hotz has confirmed that he has a working exploit which can be used to unlock the latest 05.12.01 baseband which was upgraded if you updated to newest firmware. Google Chrome recently hit the version 5 milestone for the dev branch. It should be world record for a browser, because even after more than a decade, Internet Explorer is at version 8, Firefox just reached 3.6 and Opera is at 10.5. While we still don’t have built in support for RSS feeds in Google Chrome ( they probably want us to use Google Reader instead ), Google has been providing other cool features like themes, extension support and faster speeds all the time. Google has released another update for the Chrome, versions 4.0.245.0, aimed at dev version users, which brings a Kiosk Mode to the browser along with the usual bug fixes and stability improvements. Kiosk Mode in Chrome is inspired by the very same option in Internet Explorer, which hides the toolbar and status bar and runs the browser in a full screen mode. Read more...

Lets face it. Google Chrome is an excellent browser. A lot of work is still going on it though, to improve it and fix various issues, therefore the existence of Beta (monthly) and Dev (weekly) channels along with the Stable quarterly releases.
One way to chose the channel or the type of build you want to use is through the Google Chrome Channel Changer 2.0.
