Lion is the first version of OSX to give users a full screen view of their apps. The full screen view allows you to utilize your screen real estate for a better view of your applications. However, in this view the dock disappears. Luckily, there is a pretty easy way to view the dock in full screen view.

Keyboard Dock of Apple iPad ships in May for just $69

Apple has delayed shipment of iPad keyboard dock, and now it will be ship in May. It will be available in the Apple Store for just $69. The iPad keyboard dock is a must have for iPad users who just can’t get on board with an on-screen keyboard.

Yet another multitasking app for jailbroken iPhones called Dock

banner_dockMultitasking solutions for the iPhone are some of the most popular apps in Cydia nowadays. Based on Backgrounder, these apps let you minimize running apps as well as switch between them. Multifl0w brought the Palm Pre style app switching to the iPhone albeit with a price tag. ProSwitcher, an open source app provides the same features as Multifl0w for free. Dock is yet another app for jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch that not only allows app switching, but also lets you add shortcuts to apps which can be launched from any other iPhone app. It tries to mimic the functionality of the Dock in OS X to some extent.

Make your Windows 7 Superbar icons centralized like OS X’s Dock

Windows 7 superbar like dock

The new superbar in Windows 7 has big icons like the dock which are moveable as well, but you can’t centralize them on the taskbar like OS X Docks’ icons. Well, here’s a trick that lets you do just that as shown in the above image.

Don’t you just love the stacks feature in Apple’s OS X Dock? It would have been great if Microsoft could implement such a feature in the awesome new Windows 7 superbar, but sadly, that’s something we can only dream of, since it’ll be called a rip off. But if you really really want a stack in your superbar like the one in the image below, read on.
