<Category: Apple, Chrome, Mac, OS X> No comment

Google has finally released it’s Chrome Canary build for Mac.  Canary is Google Chrome’s Developer builds, which google is numbering version 13.  The current release of Chrome is at Version 11, with the beta builds at version 12.  This means a few things, the builds are very unstable and are very frequent.  Security is not guaranteed so you should use Canary along side another version of Chrome.  I would avoid doing any shopping or putting any personal information into a web page using the browser.

If you have a jailbroken phone, and use apps from Cydia, then you know how much of a pain it is to upgrade your firmware and redownload all your apps again.  XBackup allows you to create a backup on your phone, and then sync that backup file to your computer via iTunes.  When you are done upgrading and are jailbroken again, just go to the Cydia store, and download XBackup once again.  Then in the app, run a restore, and your apps are back on your phone.
