Froyo is once again in the news this week with an update for Verizon’s Motorola Droid and also an expected upgrade for Droid Incredible.

Droid users, rejoice! Android 2.1 update is just around the corner, and it will be the full fledged update, with live wallpapers, 3D gallery and other features unlike previously rumored. The update version will be AP: ESE53/BP: C_01.3E.03P. The update is expected to be rolled out this week. The update roll out begins tomorrow.

You might have already been blown by the amount of updates that came from Google this week. It’s a bit too much if you ask me. Nonetheless, most of the updates were pretty cool and awesome.

Droid users rejoice! I just got informed that Android 2.1 is now being tested for the Motorola Droid. And from the looks of it, it will be a lot like the Nexus One update. I think Verizon finally listened to the many complaining users about getting 2.1 on the Droid, but bear in mind nothing is for sure, any last minute changes can occur, and the estimated time of release is still unclear.
