Many would have hated to have been fooled by a concocted iCade tale cracked by ThinkGeek last year, but this time it is no joke. As reported by Engadget during their coverage at CES 2011, this new creation is a joint venture courtesy of ION Audio and Atari. The idea quite likely remains the same for this new invention; only just a few more buttons on the control pad with the Bluetooth-based controller make for a great gameplay experience, we suspect. The latest email exchange of Steve Jobs with a customer who was very angry about the signal reception issues of iPhone 4 is fake according to Fortune. According to Apple PR, these emails exchanges reported by BGR were totally fake and none of the statements mentioned in that post were made by Steve Jobs. Read more...

Microsoft has warned users about the fake antivirus program know as Security Essentials 2010 which is quite similar to Microsoft’s security protection software. The programs contains a trojan Win32/Fakeinit. If the user installs the fake antivirus program, it downloads and installs a fake scanner component that monitors other processes and attempts to terminate them. Read more...

I can’t believe the outrageous number of fake jailbreaks spreading on the internet. One of them is Gull1Hack. The 18 year old German that made the Gull1hack has come clean and told the truth, ending his scam. Gull1hack really fooled many into believing it had the code to a new bootrom hack (I mean I almost got fooled). Read more...

Some guy claims to have taken pictures of an early developer Beta of Google Chrome OS. He works with some company who supplies parts for Acer laptops and got a chance to take the pictures because he was the last person to leave the room and had his mini cam with him. He also says he is "putting my career and notability on the line in this”.
While I wont bet on this, I’m amazed at how much information he has given out in the bold parts. It’ll be very easy for Acer or Google to find out who he is and sack him. Also, if it was such a private demo, how come he was allowed to have a mini cam with him? Also, the Google logo shown in the wallpaper is very different than the official Google logo. Notice the difference in letter colors.
