Earlier today we saw the HTC HD2 running Windows Phone 7 Series, but the most we saw were just pictures which can easily be Photoshopped. This video just surfaced showing the HD2 running the OS. Though it’s laggy and slow, but it looks as though the HD2 is a capable enough device to run it!

The much awaited upgrade to the PwnageTool, version 3.1.5 has just been released by the Dev-Team. This version is compatible with all iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS (old bootrom), iPod Touch 1G and 2G (old bootrom). For iPhone 3GS users, Dev-Team advises that you stay at firmware 3.1.2 because PwnageTool wont work if you’ve upgraded to 3.1.3. If you have upgraded without your 3.1.3 hashes on Cydia, chances are you’ll have to wait for the next iPhone OS update to be released and then jailbreaked because according to the Dev-Team, OS 3.1.3 update was possibly released by Apple to flush out new exploits before the next release. Update: Use this guide to jailbreak iPhone 3G/3GS with OS 3.1.3/3.1.2 untethered! ( no unlock yet though)
Note: This method doesn’t work anymore. follow this guide to jailbreak and unlock your iPhone 3GS.
A lot of users upgraded their iPhone 3GS firmware from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 without knowing the consequences. So, if you want to jailbreak and unlock it using blackra1n, you’ll have to downgrade to 3.1.2 but the modem firmware will still be 05.12.01. Remember, before trying this out, back up your data. If you end up bricking your iPhone, I won’t be responsible for it. ( Credit for this guide goes to Cliff who sent it in! ) Read more...

Important: iPhone OS 3.1.3 has been released for the iPhone and iPod Touch. We’ve got a new guide up on how to jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 and iPod Touch 3.1.3 with redsn0w 0.9.4. Don’t upgrade to iPhone OS 3.1.3 if you’re using an unlocked iPhone 3G/3Gs or a jailbroken iPod Touch 2G (MC Model)/3G. The redsn0w guide is for iPhone 2G/3G jailbreak and iPod Touch 1G/2G ( non MC Models) only.
Sn0wbreeze, a redsn0w like jailbreak tool for iPhone and iPod Touch was recently released as a beta. It lets you create custom jailbroken firmware for your device. Unlike blackra1n, it’s not as simple to follow. We would recommend blackra1n to everyone looking to jailbreak their iPod Touch, but for those interested, here’s a detailed guide to create a custom jailbroken 3.1.2 firmware using sn0wbreeze.
