So you’ve been brave and ditched your iPhone or Android phone for Windows Phone 7. Good move. Loving the UX? So are we. But wait! Where are the awesome apps we loved on the ruling mobile platforms of the world? The Twitter app blows. There’s no Reeder for Windows Phone 7. No good IM clients. Heck, there’s no Instagram or PicPlz! Gasp!
Fear not, fellow Windows Phone 7 users. While there’s not much we can do about the apps issue, there’s a way to take photos with cool effects and share them on your social networking websites through a few simple steps. You won’t be able to check in to Foursquare but seriously, that’s not the end of the world.

Flickr App for iPhone has been updated to version 1.2 to support iOS 4 multitasking features such as fast app switching and background task completion. Flickr app for the iPhone and iPod Touch just got updated to version 1.1. The new app finally brings support for multiple photo and video uploads at a time, which was one of the biggest complaints people had with version 1.1. Along with multiple uploads, you can now edit titles, descriptions, sets, tags and privacy controls for photos and videos. Read more...

Flickr really knows how to do images well. Whether on the desktop or a mobile browser, and now this stands true for an iPhone app as well because Flickr has really nailed it with its official app. Not only does it let you search and browse for images, you can upload photos and videos ( from iPhone 3G S ) along with geo-tagging.
