The New Google Doodle is a Video

Today is John Lennon’s 70th birthday and Google has dedicated its homepage to him like it has done before for many other famous people. But it’s a Google’s first today because today’s doodle is an embedded video. Its a simple animation with Imagine playing in the background. ‘You may say I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one.’

Second ‘unexplained phenomenon’ Google Doodle – Crop Circles

Just as promised by Google Korea’s Blog, the 2nd doodle in the series of clues is up on the today. 10 days ago Google puzzled users worldwide with its ‘unexplained phenomenon’ doodle. Many theories began circulating online explaining the doodle. Later, Google’s Korean Blog revealed that the doodle was in fact the first one in a series of three clues. It also said that the next clue would be up on the 15th of this month.

Google got the world thinking about their ‘unexplained phenomenon’ doodle yesterday. The doodle depicted an ‘o’ from ‘Google’ being beamed up by a UFO. It linked to search results for ‘unexplained phenomenon’. More interestingly, the doodle’s URL was: http://www.google.com/logos/go_gle.gif, that also shows a missing ‘o’. Adding to this strange doodle was the encrypted tweet by @google that translates to “All your O are belong to us”, an obvious reference to the catchphrase “All your base is belong to us”.
