iOS 5.0.1 update hasn’t done much wonders for users for their battery life woes but it has introduced a new bug which messes up the address book for iPhone 4S users on Verizon. What it does is that it removes the contact’s name and shows just their number in the text contact field or when someone calls the user. One great little feature that seems to have gone unnoticed is the ability to add a digital signature to PDFs. This functionality is built right into OSX Lion. This is done using Preview and your Mac’s built-in iSight camera to grab the image. You can then put your signature on PDFs that you need to send with your signature attached. Read more...

OSX Lion has got some amazing features, right out of the box. One great little feature discovered, which is similar to the new feature in iOS5 as well, Twitter integration. We’ve shown you how to get Google+ easily on your Mac, and now we are going to show you how you can easily tweet messages from anywhere inside of OSX Lion. The basics are just click and drag any text you want to tweet in Safari, Mail, etc. and OSX Lion grabs it and puts it into your tweet window using Twitter for Mac. One neat little feature found in Lion is the ability to use accented characters with the push of a key. Literally! If you hold down a letter that has accented options, such as “a”, then you get a little popup giving you the option to use an accented character. This does however replace the default character repeat if you were to hold down the key such as yeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw! Read more...
