HTC have taken it on themselves to release a YouTube app for their Windows Phone 7 Devices. It’s a horrible fact that Microsoft didn’t bother to include a YouTube app, amongst many other features, in Windows Phone 7. Call it version 1.0 or whatever you like, but even iPhone had it since version 1.0

Here we go again. Yet another video showing Windows Phone 7 OS running on HTC HD2. In case you don’t know the background to this story, HTC HD2 was to get Windows Phone 7 update but in the end it seems to have missed Microsoft’s hardware requirements by just the lack of a hardware search button. Whatever the case, hackers have been hard at work to get Windows Phone 7 OS ported to HTC HD2 so that all those owners who had bought it hoping that it’ll get Microsoft’s latest mobile OS update can have their dreams fulfilled.

New data from Canalys shows that iPhone was the best selling smartphone in the third quarter of 2010, controlling 26.2 percent of the market, but with the amount of phones now running Google’s Android, it represents a combined 43.6 percent.

Yesterday, Microsoft finally launched Windows Phone 7 and with that HTC, Samsung, LG and Dell also revealed their Windows Phone 7 devices. Currently, ten devices have been revealed by these companies and among these ten devices, five are of HTC. Just like Android devices, users would have a choice for their WP7 device according to their taste. Some of these devices also have physical keyboards for those who don’t like the touch keyboard that much. Definitely the most important thing about these devices is their OS but still the devices revealed till now are not that bad.

Finally after all this wait, Microsoft has launched Windows Phone 7. With the launch, different companies have also unwrapped their Windows Phone 7 devices with all their details. HTC has been a big player in the Android market and looking at their new Windows Phone devices, it looks like they will also make some impact with these new devices.

Yesterday, HTC revealed two new HTC Android devices and didn’t talk about their upcoming Windows Phone 7 devices as they want to keep their information confidential till the launch of Windows Phone 7 OS. HTC lovers had been waiting for the HTC event since the last few weeks. We saw some of their new phones in some leaks but today HTC officially announced their two new Android devices in an event in London, HTC Desire HD and Desire Z. Not only did they announce the new smartphones but they also announced a new HTC Sense experience which will provide different services for their devices.

Most Android phone users are still waiting for Android 2.2 Froyo to come on their devices. Currently, it is available for only some Android phones like Nexus One, HTC Evo 4G and Motorola Droid. But according to Mashable, HTC Incredible users will not have to wait too long for Froyo as they would get the Android 2.2 update this Wednesday.
Its time to start guessing what HTC has to offer as they have announced an event next month in London. They have not announced what they will be organizing this event for but they will reveal some new device. “Come see what HTC has dreamt up 15 September.” also says that. HTC is making both Android and Windows phone 7 devices and since the last few weeks we have seen some interesting leaks.
