That’s incredibly scary by any means but the good news is, the exploits used to do this aren’t going to be released in the wild for wrong usage. A close second was Internet Explorer 8 ( who uses that? Get IE9! ), which fell to three different vulnerabilities and custom exploits. Read more...

While browsing the Internet using Internet Explorer 8, sometimes a dialog box appears which states “This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage”, as shown in the screenshot below. This dialog box may appear when you are opening a web address that begins with https like Hotmail or Amazon or any other secure website. This message shows that you are trying to access a web page that may include images and other elements that are hosted on a non-https location. Read more...

But even Motorola Razor was an awesome cell phone in the past. Would you use it now when you have better alternatives? Read more...

Microsoft has launched a new ‘Browser for Better’ campaign aimed at
feeding the hungry in America. For every download of Internet Explorer 8 from the Browser for Better website, Microsoft will donate 9 meals to ‘Feeding America’ which is the America’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.
For those thinking that this move is just to promote Internet Explorer 8 rather than to help people, the download will count only if it’s done from the Browser for Better website, not through Windows Update or Microsoft Downloads or any other source. This act of charity by Microsoft should be followed by other giant companies like Google and Apple to show support to their customers and their fellow country men who have been hit by recession.
