After the recent popular demonstration of Android running on iPhone 2G, Planetbeing has managed to get Android running on the iPhone 3G as well. In this build of Android, sound doesn’t work really well and the graphics drivers aren’t optimized, but WiFi works from what we can tell by watching the video. Openiboot has also been improved in this demo and looks a lot better than before. Multitouch is also reportedly working, but it hasn’t been showed in the video. Read more...

After a long wait, the jailbreak for iPhone OS 3.1.3/iPad 3.2 is finally here. Spirit is an untethered jailbreak for iPhone with OS 3.1.2/3.1.3, iPod Touch 3.1.2/3.1.3 and iPad OS 3.2. It’s a simple 1-click solution and as easy to use as blackra1n. However, Spirit will not unlock your iPhone. If you use a hacktivated iPhone, you are still better off with not upgrading to OS 3.1.3 until there’s an unlock for 05.12.01 baseband. Read more...

The unthinkable has happened. This guy has managed to run Android on an iPhone 2G! This should make all Linux fans out there extremely happy( as well as Google ). Best thing about this is that the guy can boot into either iPhone OS or Android. While I have no idea why the hell would anyone want to ruin their iPhone by running Android on it, we’re all up for choices though! Check out the video: Read more...

Here’s a really handy little app which has just been made available on Cydia, SBRotator (we had covered it before as well). Its function is simple, it rearranges your icons on your iPhone’s home screen in orientation to which you are holding your phone, just like on the iPad.
