redsn0w 0.9.5 beta 5 was released a few days ago by the iPhone Dev Team to jailbreak iOS 4 on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. After a long wait, the jailbreak for iPhone OS 3.1.3/iPad 3.2 is finally here. Spirit is an untethered jailbreak for iPhone with OS 3.1.2/3.1.3, iPod Touch 3.1.2/3.1.3 and iPad OS 3.2. It’s a simple 1-click solution and as easy to use as blackra1n. However, Spirit will not unlock your iPhone. If you use a hacktivated iPhone, you are still better off with not upgrading to OS 3.1.3 until there’s an unlock for 05.12.01 baseband.  Read more...

iPhone OS 3.1.3 update has just been released on iTunes for iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s not a major update and only contains minor fixes. As expected, users who jailbreak and unlock their iPhone and iPod Touch should steer clear of the update until cleared by us. Evidence of iPhone OS 3.1.3 and 4.0 was first found by BGR in their server logs back in December 2009. Now that we’ve gotten our hands on 3.1.3, hopefully iPhone OS 4.0 will be coming soon too.  Read more...
