Don’t read on if you hate Farmville. For all others, Christmas has come early. Farmville is a very popular Facebook game which lets you create a farm and then look after it. Since the game is made on Flash, a lot of people used it as an excuse to blast iPhone’s lack of the runtime. But recently at WWDC10, Farmville for iPhone was demoed on stage by Zynga.

The iPhone Dev Team has been working hard on getting iOS 4.0 tools out of the door. First ultrasn0w, then redsn0w and now PwnageTool 4.0 for Mac. This release jailbreaks and unlocks iPhone 3G, 3GS [old bootrom] and jailbreaks iPod Touch 2G, granted that they’re not jailbroken with Spirit.
Preparations under way at Moscone Center for Apple WWDC 2010
Preparations are well underway at Moscone Center, San Fransisco, for WWDC 2010, Apple‘s annual developer conference. The focus this time seems to be entirely on iPhone apps as evident from the banners that have been put up. Apple is expected to unveil iPhone 4G, a cloud based iTunes and much more ( really, the rumors go on and on! ). As usual, Steve Jobs will be there to deliver the keynote.

It has been a pretty heated debate between people who have wanted to buy an iPad versus people who think the iPad is not worth it, just due to the lack of Flash. While I’m not against Flash, I find it absurd that people woke up many years late, after iPhone was released in 2007, to realize that Flash is actually missing. Spirit jailbreak was released some time ago for Windows and Mac users and allowed untethered jailbreak for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad for OS 3.x. It’s only a jailbreak solution and doesn’t provide an unlock for iPhones. Obama Calls iPad a Distraction and Diversion
United States President Barack Obama, during a speech today at Hampton University, criticized the use of gadgets like Apple’s iPad and iPod touch and called these devices a “distraction” and “diversion” for the nation , specially for the students.
Spirit Jailbreak tool updated with fixes for photo deletion and error code c0000005
As expected, after feedback on various bugs by users, Spirit Jailbreak tool has gotten its first update. This update fixes the issue where jailbreaking your iDevice automatically deleted all the photos ( honestly, you folks should have backed up using iTunes! ) and it no longer gives error code c0000005, but if it still does, you’ll have to set compatibility to Windows 95.
