iOS 4 (previously iPhone OS 4) has been released to the general public as a free upgrade for iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod Touch 2G/3G models. iPhone 2G and iPod Touch 1G wont get iOS 4 because they’re old and slow. We’re already well aware about the fact that iTunes Store is live on Facebook and you can make your purchases directly from their Facebook page. The upcoming feature would allow us to share what we’ve purchased via iTunes to other users on Facebook.

PadGadget has found that the iTunes preview site has now started showing iPad apps. Developers were working on iPad apps since a few months and now Apple has started approving their apps which are now visible on the iTunes preview site but still not shown in the desktop iTunes App Store. Clicking on titles of those apps would show you a dialog box stating that the items are currently not available. Read more...

Apple have announced that iTunes users can now gift apps to each other. Previously iTunes user could only gift songs to each other. To gift an app to your friend you cannot use iTunes cards or gift certificates, only credit card would be accepted for payment of the gift app. Another important thing is that you can only exchange gift app to the person from your own county only.
