iFile is hands down my favorite Cydia app and I definitely wouldn’t leave my home without it. Its one of those “mandatory” jailbreak tools which make your life so much easier on iOS platform and once again it reminds Apple, “this is how it should be done!”. iFile is the most complete file browser available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad today and it keeps getting better everyday with tons of new features being adding consistently by the developer, the latest one being DropBox integration in iFIle 1.6.  Read more...

If I was ever asked to give just the one reason why I would jailbreak my iPhone or iPad, I’d say SBSettings. I actually feel sorry for iOS without it. Each time an iOS update / jailbreak comes out, I make sure it is compatible with this superb Cydia tweak before I go for the upgrade. A brand new tweak has made its way to the Cydia store called AutoAnswer. As the name implies, it lets you set regular phone calls as well as FaceTime calls on auto answer. It is compatible with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS only and is available for download at a price of $4.99. You can set specific numbers which will be auto answered either instantly or after the amount of seconds you specify. It sure comes as a surprise move from Sony announcing that they have already come to a settlement with George Hotz aka Geohot regarding PlayStation 3 jailbreak lawsuit. A recent announcement from @p0sixninja confirms that a greenpois0n update with iPad 2 jailbreak support on iOS 4.3.1 is almost ready and should be released pretty soon. He referred to @i0nic’s untethered exploit for iOS 4.3.1 being out already so it seems most appropriate to utilize it in an untethered iPad 2 jailbreak as well. And since iOS 4.3.2 seems to be just around the corner, it should be released before that as Apple is likely to patch this exploit in the next update.  Read more...
