With OSX Lion, Apple was going for an iOS look; No scrollbars, no status bars, no anything bars. However, to some of us, those were useful to have. We’ve shown you how to get the scrollbars back, and now we’re going to show you how to get the status bar back.
One neat little feature found in Lion is the ability to use accented characters with the push of a key. Literally! If you hold down a letter that has accented options, such as “a”, then you get a little popup giving you the option to use an accented character. This does however replace the default character repeat if you were to hold down the key such as yeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!

According to 9to5Mac, an inside source has tipped them about OS X Lion USB sticks being available and ready to ship from Apple. However, they will cost a whopping $69.99 according to the screenshot given below, which has been provided by the Applecare source. It is basically intended to those OS X customers who haven’t been able to use Lion’s recovery tools as desired.

Apple has enabled Find My iPhone and Find My Mac services for developers who are beta-testing iCloud. Developers can log in on iCloud.com, and request the location of their iOS devices or Mac computers, and view them in a map.

Initially, I never thought I’ll be using Mission Control feature of OS X Lion much or in fact, at all. But tell you what, its this one feature alone worth upgrading from Snow Leopard to Lion as it completely changes the OS X experience, especially if you own a multitouch trackpad. Nonetheless, the feature is still pretty much enjoyable using the fully editable keyboard shortcuts making it easy to move between spaces and full screen applications.

We’ve shown you how to create a bootable Lion DVD as well as a bootable Lion USB Drive. We even showed you today how to use Lion DiskMaker to create a DVD or USB Solution for Lion Recovery.
