Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you must be well aware by now that Google and Samsung unveiled the next generation Nexus phone called Galaxy Nexus. Although I’m not a fan of the name, I like the specifications that Samsung has been able to cram into the phone. Seems like they threw in everything that Apple rumor sites were saying that the iPhone 5 would have like the tear drop design and so on. Google has launched a new feature called Google Cloud Print for mobile documents and Gmail for mobile for both Android and iOS users. This will let you print docs on the go from your device although you will need a PC, turned on and connected to a printer. You will also need to have it registered on Google Cloud Print through Google Chrome to get it working. Read more...

Flash player for Android has received an update which makes it compatible with future OS updates. This confirms all the signs and rumors that Gingerbread, Android 2.3, could be in the hands of the public very soon. It’s good to see Adobe readying Flash before the release as this is only a good thing for users although we would love to see better performance on a broader set of Android devices now. Read more...

Yesterday, Microsoft finally launched Windows Phone 7 and with that HTC, Samsung, LG and Dell also revealed their Windows Phone 7 devices. Currently, ten devices have been revealed by these companies and among these ten devices, five are of HTC. Just like Android devices, users would have a choice for their WP7 device according to their taste. Some of these devices also have physical keyboards for those who don’t like the touch keyboard that much. Definitely the most important thing about these devices is their OS but still the devices revealed till now are not that bad. Read more...

A brief history first. In 2004, Microsoft began working on a new phone OS codenamed Photon. Due to various problems, the whole project was scrapped but in 2008 in the Windows Phone team started from scratch by making a new OS called Windows Phone 7.
After much wait, Windows Phone 7 was launched today in New York and Europe. You will be able to get a Windows Phone 7 device starting November 8 in the US. Read more...

Just a few days ago , Froyo FRF85B build was released official for Nexus One for both T-Mobile and AT&T users. The Froyo updates haven’t stopped yet as there is yet another build released today. Again, this new update is being pushed off for both T-Mobile and AT&T users. The build number of this new update is FRF91 and its size is about 900k which means it doesn’t have any big changes.
