Many people were excited to hear rumors about Apple TV to be renamed as iTV and that it would run apps from the App Store but nothing like that was revealed in the media event on September 1. Just when the iPad has launched and over 30,000 people are using it, HP Slate comes back in the sight for 30 second to remind us that there is another Tablet PC ready to launch. As expected we’re getting to see a lot of tablets floating here and there, but the Asus Eee PC T101MT is a netbook and tablet mashed together. Don’t be fooled by it’s hardware, it’s surely capable of doing more than what it’s made to do.

Just because the Zune HD Marketplace isn’t open like the App Store doesn’t mean that developers can’t make apps for it and we can’t use them. A developer has created a multi-touch drawing app for the Zune HD using XNA 3.1 Zune extensions. The app is really basic and doesn’t even have different colors to chose. But the developer has already said that the app is intended for developers and encourages improvements to the code. Read more...
